PC Magazine’s Jim Fisher posted his review of the Nikon COOLPIX P7100, giving it a very good rating. He explained that the camera is ideal for those photographers who are looking for a point & shoot, but want to be in control of every setting. "The P7100 performed well in our Lab tests," Fisher noted. Features that were impressive included the 7.1x zoom, which is the largest in its class; as well as the fact that it bested the competition with regards to startup and shutter lag speeds. He added: "If you’re set on a digital compact camera with an optical viewfinder and lots of manual controls, the Nikon Coolpix P7100 won’t disappoint."
